The DX community started in 2014 to bestow a special award to distinguished researchers, in order to honor their dedication to and support to our community as well as their constant contributions to the available research in the field.

Following this tradition, we proudly announce that the DX'18 chairs presented in 2018 the Lifetime Achievement Award to GREGORY PROVAN, Director of the Complex Systems Lab at University College Cork, Ireland, in recognition of his scientific record and his outstanding efforts and contributions to the DX Workshop series. The laudatio for Gregory was given by Alexander Feldman, Xerox Parc, USA. Congratulations!
